Where do I come from

A quiet ocean side hotel, perfect little place for reflection

A question, many travelers have had to answer, understandably so. Sometimes I wonder what it means to answer this question, and would it matter if I gave different people different responses based on the various places I’ve been. Would you answer this question based on where you were born, or where you considered your formative years? What about where you studied? Where you lived after you finished school?

Recently I’ve been reminded that I wanted to write a journal based on all my experiences here in Taiwan. I’ve hard my fair share of up’s and down’s, highs and lows. Not that I have any intention on doing anything with those journals but its nice to remind myself where I came from and where I’ve been emotionally.
